Day 2 - Genre Presentations

For Day 2, I was there, because I was part of the 2nd group who did Fantasy. The first group was really good. They did, I believe fiction based on truth, which is called Factional. But they never stated what Genre they were presenting, I had to ask the girl when I was leaving. I don't think it mattered because their presentation was really good. The ending was the best part, and none of us were expecting it. It was very touching, the song, Amazing Grace, sang so beautifully with the power point of the homeless people. Professor Pickett was right, we need to keep these people in mind when it comes to the holidays. Some people, my boyfriend being one of them, always criticizes the homeless, because there are certain homeless people by our house who are always drinking alcohol. But you can't base what you see one person doing and expect all people to be the same. Especially when it comes to poor defensless children who are suffering for other reasons, and I have seen first hand children who aren't looked after properly. It's very sad, but they cannot be judged, and you must let them escape the pressures of reality in your classroom. I believe this presentation brought this issue to light for a lot of us. I am not going to comment on our project, because, well, we did it, so I will leave that to you all.
